So you watched “Cowspiracy” and realised you’ve been living your life all wrong. But you’re not the kind of person who mopes around and be sad about it, you will change your lifestyle because you believe you can change the world…
Then you realise no one else you know is vegan. Sure you might meet other vegans from time to time but you’re the only vegan among your friends and family. They people may reduce their meat and dairy levels, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re the only one in this 100%.
Hang in there.
You’re not alone! First of all, you’re not the only one feeling like this. How many people do you think are become vegan every day because of new information from documentaries or the internet? If you can do it, there must be more right?
So if you feel alone, remember that you’re just there before them. Since you got there first, be ready to meet them on the other side (vegan side) and answer questions like “why didn’t you tell me this is how great it feels?”.
Until then, you have a clean conscience to keep you company.
